Fall Is Here!

We have been talking about the seasons.  We worked together with a partner and sorted signs of Fall.

Then we got ready to make some Fall trees...   

First we used pastels to draw our "naked" trees!  We talked about the big, thick trunk and branches and twigs!

Next we painted the backgrounds and let our pictures dry.

Then we added the colourful leaves

red and yellow...

green and...

brown!

With Remembrance Day coming, we have been talking about Peace.  This is what Peace means to us...

Art with Arts Umbrella!

Arts Umbrella came yesterday and showed us how to use shapes, like "squares" and "triangles" and "circles" to draw cats!  We used chalk pastels and a little paint.  Here are our "masterpieces"!!
